Two trails. Two days. Yesterday.
The day before yesterday. A trail closer to the bluffs. Think it gets sandy when the wind blows? Think it may get windy often?
Views of Sequim, the Olympic Peninsula. . .and beyond

This is a fun post. Sand and rain. Sounds like a coastal area! I like the water drops on the leaves.
P.S. Maybe you’ll have another chance for some raccoon shots?
Great photos – great comparison. We drove to Birch Bay on Friday – the scent of the ocean wins me over every time. And a light lunch/dinner of the best salad – and the worst onion rings I ever tasted – absolutely swimming in oil – sent them back and got a nice hunk of fresh baked bread – much better.
The sand doing that is unexpected- which just shows how far I am from the sea.
