I made my first pilgrimage to Greysmarsh Farm yesterday. Visions of fresh raspberries danced in my head.
I may have jumped the gun. There are raspberries ready for picking but it’s still early. Another week or two and they should be looking good if we have some sunny days.
Not everyone at the farm was a paying customer yesterday.
I love picking fruit and berries. Can’t believe you got so close to a deer! They must be too used to people.
I’ve been given lots of raspberries if you know what I mean but I haven’t picked any lately. We do have some that grow wild around here. I’ve not seen any deer eating them, though. More like it would be black bears. 🙂
I am not a violent person, but I think I would kill for fresh, wild raspberries.
Ah, deer will be deer!
Stop! Thief! Those berries were ripe enough for someone. : ) Great capture.
I wonder what share of the berries are borrowed by deer.
