Gravestones are snuggling with blooming Oregon grape.
…One on a side. It comes to little more:
There where it is we do not need the wall:
He is all pine and I am apple orchard.
My apple trees will never get across
And eat the cones under his pines, I tell him.
He only says, ‘Good fences make good neighbors’…
–Robert Frost, “Mending Wall”
Looks to have been a lovely morning (evening?) when you took these photos…love that soft light that washes over the landscape. Cemeteries fascinate me and I enjoy wandering around reading the gravestones. Very nice post, and thank you for your comment on L & L Photography! Wishing you a great day!
It looks like a peaceful cemetery.
You cannot go wrong with a Frost quote. We all seem to have a fascination with cemeteries; perhaps it is the peaceful, reflective quality. Wonderful image.
Lovely light, probably in golden hour. And some classic Frost to boot.
