Spring started gently, quietly. Then in the last week it broke loose. First a few frogs declaring themselves. Then a growing daily raucous choruses. A couple of swallows. Now a dozen. A fellow walker today spied two bluebirds. And daylight is getting deliciously longer. I can definitely handle this.

The west coast is so lucky to get a early jump start on spring. In the north east the trees don’t even have any leaves yet.
I hear the birds telling me it’s spring, but I haven’t seen the trees blossoming yet. Love seeing yours in the meantime!
Your delightful description of spring’s arrival made me smile! Love the photo, too.
Very delicate! Our first day of spring was sunny but cool. Though I did see the first Canada geese of the season on Saturday.
Great to see. We got some snow two days ago but it is already gone.
With very little effort you could convert your description to a poem to spring. Once an eon ago I was in DC during the blooming of the cherry blossoms. Such loveliness. . .like your photo.
