The sun breaks out and people around here turn positively gleeful. They’ll say “Isn’t it a beautiful day?!” even if it was pouring rain an hour or two earlier. And the truth is…it is.

The sun can change everything. Even on a cold winter day the sun can change my whole attitude from glum to cheerful.
PS: I like the clouds and mountains in the background.
What a sky. I like the open landscape and the freshness in the colours.
The light and shadow of this shot really work well together, Kay!
VERY sweet shot!
Oooh….very moody! Wonderful clouds. I can almost see them swirling through the computer screen.
Great shot – so much to consider in it. Just lovely. Did you get the winds over there? It was unbelievable here. Our daughter’s house was hit by a neighbor’s broken off top of a tree – about 25 feet tall – fortunately no one was hurt and only minor damage to a little deck. We’ve been lucky so far at our house. I’m hoping these raging wind storms stop soon.
Any day when the sun shines it is a very good day, especially during the winter months. The clouds in the sky are magnificent!!
And often the skies provide superb photo ops after a rainstorm. Like here!
The clouds are making a mountain over the mountain!
