There’s something about derelict houses that always arouses curiosity. What happened? Why is it empty? Who lived here? If walls could talk.
Though rundown this is a large, nice piece of property. I can imagine an active life lived here.
Views of Sequim, the Olympic Peninsula. . .and beyond

The same question goes through my mind also. Most of the time I never find out.
I also wonder what happened in cases like this. So sad to see an abandoned place.
A sad sight. Probably beyond the point of repair, too.
Where is this house? Thanks; ALLWAYS love your pictures!!!!
Thanks, Ron. It’s near the east end of Gupster Road, on the north side.
Always interesting to photograph a desolate scene like this…but, definitely sad. Makes you wonder who owns the property and what transpired before the place was boarded up.
I am drawn to these places like flies to a light. They are so interesting and I’d love to explore them, but they’re usually private property.
