I was tickled to discover a new-to-me eagle’s nest near the Railroad Bridge. It’s conveniently located with a prime river view.
I waited a long time to see if either eagle went out for a snack but they settled in…though they kept an eye out for opportunities.
Lucky you. I am still waiting for my close encounter with an eagle.
Kay, go to Hogback road, just to the West of Dungeness Greens Way. Look on the trees on the South side of the road and you’ll see 2 resident Eagles. They are there daily.
These are such beautiful shots of these beautiful birds. We don’t get an opportunity like this ever!
The eagles look like sentries! Wonderful shots!
Great shot – looking forward to seeing more of them.
Very lucky, Kay. A pair of eagles in North Fort Myers were webcam stars for a couple of years until the male died last summer. Hope your eagles have long and happy lives . . . right there!
A great perch for this pair!
Lucky you!
