It was a flat, grey day but I liked the branches of this tree so into Photoshop it went. Here’s how it emerged.
Not content to leave well enough alone, I played with the colors, too. It’s not to my liking but it helped me get through a brief tantrum: “NOOOO!!!! I don’t want grey days again!” That’s the sort of thing that helps when there’s no chocolate in the house.
It looks like there are many things one can do with photoshop. I tried the free trial once but could never get the hang of it.
Again, I need to download my photoshop 11 that I got about 2 years ago. Wonder what is holding me back? I really do like the first photo. Incidentally, chocolate is an important pantry staple.
A beautiful result, Kay!
You shame me. I have an ancient version of one of the abridged (i.e., cheaper) versions of Photoshop but I never played with it enough to get any good. Your skill is way beyond mine. I figure that if I didn’t take a good enough photo to stand on its own with minimal editing, then too bad for me.
Very nice. I like them both, but perhaps the b/w is the one I like the most.
Good work! I tend to be a lazy purist (kinda like Jack.) Now…about that chocolate-in-the-house issue. I hope it’s been rectified!
You’d better stock up on chocolate – I hear that the dreary days are headed our way. I don’t mind them so long as I have something indoors to keep me occupied – the holidays should do that for a while anyway. Love the effects in the photo.
