I spent a little time in the Port Townsend boatyards last week and noticed this boat. Sailboats usually look so sleek in the water it’s easy to forget how much of the boat is below the waterline.

Although not a sailor myself, I love being around boats!
A lot of it really is down low in the water!
Sailboats do look a LOT different out of the water than in!
It’s amazing how much is under water. Nice to see the “underside”.

But even the bottoms (“keels?”) of these sailboats are shapely.
