This beauty is planted by an office I went to recently. I think it’s a Rose of Sharon. We had this shrub at our very first home. In addition to the pleasure of seeing such pretty flowers it was sweet to see a familiar friend again.

Looks like the Rose of Sharon my wife has growing in the backyard.
Fancy version of the rose of Sharon I have in my backyard. I like the colour of this one very much.
i feel this reminds me of another bloom i use to use in the florist i worked in years ago. i feel it starts with an L. Larkspur. maybe i will go google it & see if it is even similar. i wonder?? any who it is gorgeous. love the color. ( :
How pretty!
This is a particularly rich color for a Rose of Sharon. I had one in West Hartford until three years ago. I was in an area that had turned into a jungle, so had everything removed and started over with a hydrangea hedge. Much as I liked the Rose of Sharon, I like the hydrangea hedge better.
Beautiful color. I love the Rose of Sharon, they are just starting to bloom here too!
It is a very descriptive name for that beautiful flower.
