Conspicuous consumption
How much is enough?

That’s crazy, isn’t it. Hard to believe the money involved. I remember years ago when living in Ft. Lauderdale I asked a worker on a yacht what it would cost just to fuel the thing and he said about $40,000 – that was probably 1987!
It’s beautiful, though!
Too much. Something like that is all ego, no regard for others.
I saw this ship complete with HELICOPTER the day we went out to see the Oil Rig in the harbor. Someone with too much money huh?
Wonder how many people they have helped who are in need? I sure hope it is a LOT.
I see some pretty big yachts down here in Naples, but that helicopter takes the boating arms race to an entirely new level!
I have to admit, I wouldn’t mind owning (or having access to) a yacht. 😉
But I definitely wouldn’t need a helicopter… and my yacht wouldn’t have to be the fanciest one.
Don’t know what to say. Conspicuous consumption all right, but how I would love to be one it for awhile.
