People joke sometimes about small towns rolling up their sidewalks. Most days Sequim’s downtown thoroughfare, Washington Street, has plenty enough traffic. Last Sunday it was quiet enough to justify a shot of our main drag. It was a grey day so I goofed around in Photoshop to perk it up a bit.

Keep goofing around! I love this. What a nice town.
Re your comment: actually Jack did not have a point. There are a number of birdhouses along the Homosassa canal to provide a home for a particular bird native to the area and protect them from predators.
Looks more like a painting then a photograph. Pretty cool.
I’m with Birdman — looks like a painting. Nice to see a classic downtown. And, I bet there will be some vibrant color when those trees bloom.
Very nice. I have been enjoying your manipulated photos. Thanks!
I like the effect- very artistic!
Very quiet indeed. It has a timeless quality about it.
Hi Kay! re your question on Ocala: I heard the name of the bird, but can’t remember. Evidently, they need help so a number of these houses were constructed in the Homosassa Canal.
Wow – looks like a postcard – and those clouds are amazing.
Those clouds add a lot of drama to what would normally be a quaint and calm scene. I like it!
Such a nice shot of the main street. It looks like the one in the town I grew up in, and a bit like the main drag in West Hartford when I moved there 35 years ago, before it got fancified.
