Our winter has been mild enough that everything seems to be blooming. Last year we had snow in March. So far lately the biggest threat to an early spring is a little rain and some wind.

The trees are indeed lovely around here – I’m enjoying the blossoms so much. I noticed all the weeping willows are beginning to leaf out too.

Re. your comment on VDP today. That lettering is about a century old. ‘Fres’ is an abbreviation for ‘frères’, that is brothers. Like bros in English
