I don’t mean to be cruel. So many people are virtually buried in snow. But I couldn’t resist these pussywillows.
Several trees were covered with these puffy harbingers of spring. And the sun was out. I felt like a honeybee striking it rich.
With all due respect to Jimi Hendrix,’scuse me while I kiss the sky.
Nice close-ups. Spring is on it’s way. We got a very thin layer of snow overnight. but I think it will melt away in a day or two.
These photos give me hope that spring is on the way. Only 26 days to go! I hope someone tells Mother Nature.
This doesn’t seem cruel to me. It’s a message of hope. :)) OH! I just read that Andy said pretty much the same thing.
They certainly are pretty!
Here, spring might technically begin in 26 days, but we’ll see snow longer than that!
love your reference to Jimi Hendrix … now his song will be running over and over in my head … I may even download it from iTunes … also thanks for giving us hope that spring is around the corner.
Man, it has been years since I saw pussy willows!
Kissinf the sky sounds like a great activity!
Oh I’m ready for sure – I’ve been seeing the catkins in the Hazelnut trees too – oh lovely spring is coming.
