In a place like Sequim you don’t have to look far to find interesting barns. This one is nestled not far from Costco, which means it’s in walking distance from West Washington, our main street.

I wonder how farmers control the moss on barn roofs. Moss must shorten the life of a lot of barns in your area.
Wisconsin, too, has a plethora of barns, of all sizes and shapes. Fun to photograph them; yours looks well-used and has “character.”
Quite a pretty old barn.
Great shot – so many barns are going to ruin in our area it is good to get photos of them while they still stand.
barns are to be relished … when I grew-up in Oklahoma and Texas a barn was found on every farm … I have fond memories of playing in the barn at my father’s farm … in later years the barns were replaced by metal buildings called quonset hut’s which do not have nearly has much photographic appeal .. Lucky you Kay for all the barns (smile).
A barn near Costco? That sure is not the case around here? Target and Home Depot and Lowe’s are near Costco.
