I love them! I think this shot would also look good in black and white.
I stood in a ditch a while back shooting cattails. But if I remember correctly I deleted all the photos after looking at them on the computer.

The backlighting is terrific. I took some backlit photos of grass tufts when I was visiting The Ohio State University in Columbus in December. They were quite similar. I like yours better.
