Unlike some parts of Washington state, Sequim doesn’t get lots and lots of rain. Seattle, for instance, got 48.5 inches of rain last year. And Forks, in the rain forest and a wetness epicenter, got 107.10 inches. Sequim? We got 17.88 inches. And some nice rainbows. What’s not to like?

Rainbows are appreciated more when they are rare.
It’s a lovely image! Cheers me up!!
pretty pretty!
every time i am at your blog i have to think about our road trip. i think i have written that also before, already… 🙂 must be so nice to always live in that area!! 🙂
and happy new year!!
Aw…this is very nice! I’ve always thought Seattle was one of the wettest places in the country. Then I moved to Ft. Lauderdale and learned that southeast Florida averaged about 58 inches of rain a year – more than Seattle. Boy, did that upset my applecart – or in the case of Florida – my orange cart. But I’ve learned to live with it.
When I lived in Phoenix back in 1951-52, that area usually got 7 inches of rain a year. Not surprising, of course. I mean, it is a desert.
It’s such a pretty sight, anytime you do see rainbows!
Wow – nice rainbow. When I was growing up in Alaska we had a family friend who came from Sequim and he was always telling us stories of how there was so much less rain in Sequim. We need to get over that way and visit soon – Don wants to take a weeks vacation – Sequim might be a good place to rent a cabin.
This one is beautiful, Kay. I have never taken a rainbow photo good enough to post. You have the knack.
