I spied yesterday’s berries adorning a graceful tree near the new Sequim Civic Center. I shot various angles as I became increasingly enamored of the fall of the stems. Satisfied, I stepped away from the tree and turned to walk back to the car. “Aren’t you going to shoot the yarn bomb?” said DH. “What yarn bomb?” said clueless photographer.
Thank you, DH!
I saw that bomb on Saturday. Lovely!
Someone has a great imagination.
This is too funny! One of the more elaborate yarn bombs I’ve seen. But I’ve never seen one down in this area – must be a PNW thing.
I got your note about the berries. I hope you didn’t go to too much trouble. That would make me berry, berry sorry!
Quite whimsical!
Some claim that these tend to make sense. Yarn bombing? Trees and sculptures were ‘attacked’ here too. I guess there is a reason. Really, it escapes me.
Ha! I think it’s great that so many people are having fun.
Such silliness – always nice to have a little chuckle.
This yarn bomb has been around for quite awhile now. Nestled at the base of a small tree, back from the sidewalk, he is not easy to spot.
Your shot really captures the wonderful detail. Thanks Kay and DH.
Yeah, I can see how hard it would have been to see that, Kay.
Really?
Hilarious! I sometimes see yarn bombs around here. Once there was a pole near a bus stop that was bombed. The knitters even tied mittens on at different levels so people waiting could keep their fingers warm. Wish I had a picture of it. 🙂
Yarn bombs have not caught on in a big way in my cities. Too bad because, judging from this photo, there is lots that an imaginative person can do. I still wonder how they are attached?!
What a face on the yarn bomb! Glad DH noticed.
