In addition to decorating one of Sequim’s purple bike racks this weekend, our yarn bombers decorated posts outside the Sunshine Cafe with garlands of yarn constructions. I for one applaud this fuzzy graffito that disappears after its brief run of fun.

Who ARE these people? I’ve seen the yarn bombers’ work on blogs but never in our fair city. I’d love to be able to examine them to see how they are attached.
Sheeeeeeesh!
I love it – we found a great yarn bomb in Edison – someone wrapped a telephone pole in a Granny Square afghan – nice and cozy. Another in Bellingham – someone knit a complete cover for one of those little lawn library boxes. Great fun.
I often find myself wondering how it’s done!
OK, Kay. Confess. Which ones did you knit? (I agree with you . . . seems like colorful and innocent whimsy.)
