Winter grass
Last year’s grass, beaten up by winter, is being overtaken these days as new spring shoots push up to begin the cycle again.

Last winter took it’s toll on the grass. Lots of damage to the golf courses here.
Isn’t nature wonderful? Sometimes? I read Andy’s comment above. Damage to golf courses? My god, that’s really terrible. Hope they get repaired soon.
Here it takes time for the grass to rebound after the snow. I like the way you capture last year’s growth.
Such a typical scene this time of year – as the grasses grow taller. I’ve noticed some of the Canary Grass is speeding along – growing taller by the moment it seems.
The grass looks like it still has some oomph in it. I like your narrow depth of field.
The cycle of life is awesome, and I do mean filled with awe.
