Clearing skies
It’s always a welcome sight to see the sun burst through the clouds. And it often means the Olympic Mountains make an appearance, too.

Nice cloud ans sun combo. After this winter I feel like I need lots of sunshine.
If I were in that plane, I’d want to land and get out of that sky, which looks a bit brooding.
“Clearing” skies? This sky still looks powerful dangerous! Love the photo, though…and that sun fighting it’s way through all those churning clouds is a hopeful sign – don’t think you need any more rain up that way! 🙂
Pretty dramatic scene captured here. Mighty mountains, Zeus is so proud.
Stunning photo – love the little plane in there. I was hoping for some clearing today – maybe see the tulips – then I realized it is the first weekend of the tulip festival and I don’t care to brave the hordes of cars – maybe another day.

A very dramatic take! Wow!
This is what I think of as an Old Testament sky.
Amazing! Gorgeous shot, Kay.
looks like a movie, with the plane…
