Red-flowering currant is one of our early harbingers of spring. In the natural landscape still awash in winter drabs, its bright splash of color is a welcome sight.

Lucky you. In my part of the world spring is trailing behind.
Red is such a great color, especially in the spring when we’ve been waiting for signs of change for the warmer. Love your bumper sticker! Enjoy every moment of this glorious day!
Another favorite – it is so exciting to see spring creeping in – soon it will be going full blast!!!
I don’t know this particular tree or shrub, but it is a pretty one to introduce spring.
Lovely little blooms and collage.
