After winter days of grey skies and bare foliage this shot take at the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival last year looks like a Technicolor miracle. It’s not too soon to start planning a day trip if you’re local, though if you’ve got cabin fever an overnight trip sure appeals. The festival runs through the month of April.

The colours are just a popping in this photo. That’s the way I like it.
The festival must be an eye-popping experience. Your photo is very enticing.
Ready for those colors and spring! Hope to see you then…
This rivals the Netherlands.
I long for those colorful days – we had 10 inches of snow and then last night at 5 our power went out didn’t come back on until 2:22 this afternoon. We were warm at night under our quilts – but finally gave up and went to breakfast this morning just to warm up – and get some food too. Found two cafes closed – finally the Hilltop up near Lynden was open – great breakfast and when we got home the power was on – then off for 3 more hours – now it seems to be on permanently again. You see why I long for those beautiful days of tulips!! Fabulous photo. The colors are stunning – that is where we are headed next spring – our favorite spot to take pictures.
All those gorgeous colors will surely end those winter doldrums in a hurry!
