I didn’t like the wires in this shot and I didn’t want to crop the tree tops. But I loved the warm light. So here it is with “wire pollution.”
I moved in closer to sidestep the wires and the light had changed, just like that. And here it is, a cleaner shot and so-so light. It’s not the first time a shot of his barn has eluded me.
funny, i really had to look for the wires… i did find them but they dont bother me!!
What? You’ve never heard of Photoshop? 🙂
Lovely barn, either way. Sometimes wires really belong in a picture. I think you did much better than I would have done for people have told me in the past that I couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn. Oh, maybe they weren’t talking about photography. Guns? Shoot, I can’t remember!
Sometimes it’s simply impossible to avoid those wires! Frustrating, I know.
Photoshop would take care of those wires. I like the red barn very much. The second photo is delightful, too; sometimes we are too self-critical yet I understand the desire to set a standard of “perfection” when shooting favorite scenes.
The wires don’t bother me. Nor do cars or people (within reason and used artfully). They all occupy our world. You probably could have edited them out, but I have not become a pro at photo-editing and can’t tell you how.
