Cobb salad lunch at Black Bear Diner in Sequim. I don’t think I’m fooling myself that this may be any more virtuous than a hamburger and fries. This is to a salad what a banana split is to a scoop of ice cream. There’s lettuce under there somewhere but most of the rest is pure indulgence.

although it looks nice, i would actually prefer they mix the entire salad, but they somehow always lay it always out like this…

Well, let’s hear it for INDULGENCE. Makes a pretty tasty treat, doesn’t it?!
Now that’s the way to eat salad. I had a chicken/avocado/bacon salad the other day – and I ordered the small one – I can’t imagine what the large one comes in – a tub? The small was enough for my dinner and some to bring home.
