Mount Baker, in the Cascade Range east of us, is a tantalizing part of our viewscape. It’s often hidden by clouds and it’s distant enough that a clear view is a treat. But the views are never quite ideal and a really good picture seems just beyond reach with my lens range. That doesn’t seem to keep me from trying every time I have a chance. I should just take a road trip to the other side of Puget Sound and get up close and personal.

Nothing wrong with this photo! I think it is framing quality. . .both the foreground and background work very well together. We just cannot improve on Mother Nature. . .I love the entire scene.
I love the photos from your side of Mt. Baker – not a view that we see all the time. I like how you can see more of the snowy peaks on either side of the mountain from Sequim. One of my favorite views of Mt. Baker was from the Port Townsend ferry – it was clear and we could see Mt. Baker and Mt. Ranier both – though not close enough to get them both in the photo, but it was amazing.
So beautiful!
