I’ve read that the snowbound First Nations people of Canada have dozens of words for “snow.” Sometimes it feels like we need to expand our moisture vocabulary in the Pacific Northwest. Wet. Damp. Dewy. Moist. Sopping. Maybe I just need to expand my thinking.

Nice capture. The drops enhance the flower.
You have thought up quite a few labels for the phenomena that has enveloped that rose.
Very beautiful!
The rose is lovely with the water droplets on it, but it also would have been lovely if it were dry. It is in the mid-80s down here, with sunshine deep into the 10-day forecast. Come on down!
Oh how lovely. The rains started tonight around 5:30 – looks like our autumn sunny days and foggy days are done for – highs in the 40s next week. Time to get out the winter projects and enjoy the rain.
