Between the campground and the ocean at Ocean City State Park the trail follows the edge of a beautiful marsh. I can’t remember if marsh plants go through seasonal color changes but this sure looks like an autumn scene to me. This was taken on the last day of summer.
Here’s a backward glance at the Pacific Ocean late in the afternoon.

Lovely! The first photo makes me want to be there and wander around a bit.
I fell in love with marshes while in South Carolina, and the winter scenes were beautiful. . . an amazing shade of rust. I bet these change colors, too.
Back East, Ocen City Martyland is a beautiful spot too.
Oh the glories of summer!!!!!! It sure disappeared fast this year.
In Florida we have sand dunes mostly. I think I like the marshes better. Gorgeous photos! I really like the silvery light in the second shot!
More beautiful landscapes, Kay. The marsh image is really good. It looks a bit different from the Connecticut marches, the Carolina marshes and the Florida marshes, but I can’t put my finger on what the difference is.
SO lovely! I love the land at the edges of the sea!
This is such an interesting habitat. I could spend some time exploring the place.
