Drat
We’ve had rain on and off over the last week. And sunset is coming earlier each day. Unmistakable signs that summer isn’t going to last forever.

Get ready for the colours of autumn.
Don’t want to hear that, Kay! I’ve always thought that the colors of autumn are ironic considering what follows. . . ice and snow.
I know – the leaves are dropping and turning colors – I don’t like autumn at all – ever – for any reason – well, except for apple pie – I want our wonderful summer to go on and on. At least today and tomorrow look nice – and we have a big double birthday party at Lake Whatcom tomorrow – the cake is in the oven – the blueberry pie is next in line.
Lovely photo – but I want more summer!!!!
Lovely picture. Your site is always a nice start to my day. Thanks. S.A.M.
I love nasturtium, the seem quite classy to me! The good news is that after winter, there’s summer again!
Isn’t it amazing how something as simple as a water droplet can be so beautiful and exquisite? And most never even take the time to see this for the beauty it truly is. One of the reasons why I adore photography so much.
A lovely natural photo, Kay.
same here, and its markedly colder. buuuhhh…
