One more or less gets used to overcast skies living in the Pacific Northwest. But when the big, bright, cottony clouds dance along on a clear blue sunny day it’s not shrugged off. It poured the day before this shot. It froze overnight. And then the day paraded this. This sort of day pulls people out of their homes, onto trails, and nearly everyone has a big smile on his or her face.

Great capture of the big puffy cloud.
It was a glorious day – and true – we do head outdoors as soon as possible on these lovely days – because the next day it is likely to rain again. We visited the tulip fields in Skagit County and had a car picnic (too chilly yet for an outdoor picnic) and enjoyed every minute of the sunny day. Great photo!!!
That is a pretty fine cloud bank, Kay. OK, I’ll go outside. Tomorrow.
I like how you captured the blue sky from this morning.Too bad it didn’t last.
The weather does make a difference, whether we think so or not. I know dull, gloomy days tend to lower my spirits; stormy, blustery cold days make me want to hide; but bright, sunny days make me think the world isn’t such a bad place after all.
Looks like a Florida sky here!
Cotton candy. Awesome!
