Here’s another of our regional working barns. This one sports a traditional “Northwest Green” atop its roof.
You can find the Northwest Green everywhere these days: roofs, fences, wooden mailboxes, between toes. . .

A traditional and classic shape on this barn, and I think the cap of fog adds lots of interest to the photo.
A classic scene. The fog/mist really adds to the mood, doesn’t it? Interesting about the Northwest Green. Was this taken recently? Everything looks so…green.
A perfect capture…especially with the mist in the mountains…love it!
That’s a big barn! For some reason it looks like a dairy farm. And the green moss…well, here you get mildew on the roofs – especially in areas where there’s a lot of humidity. We paid a guy to pressure wash the roof on our old house in Ocala.
Wow what a barn. I want to see inside
Yes, and we don’t tan here, we rust! Love this shot, it is a traditional NW sight… Thank you for joining in ‘Rurality Blog Hop #1’ Hope to see you next Wednesday for #2…
Great barn – I do love the old barns in WA – and love the “green” tops. We’ve been over to visit Sequim – and once my dad bought a fishing boat there – in the 60s – my that was a long time ago.
so pretty with the low clouds!
I so love this shot…love that barn.
