Here’s another image of the Dungeness Recreation Area that I took during our Sunlight Event last Thursday. I managed two post-worthy shots before the sun returned to winter pallor. I shouldn’t complain. Our weather’s been mild compared to much of the world and for that I’m grateful.
My husband has taken to pointing out all the budding branches he can find and regularly observes new signs of spring. That’s welcome optimism.
It’s a good combination with the sun reflecting on the grasslands and the dark clouds in the background.
pretty scene!
It’s the colors here that make an impression on me – the combination of brown and gold juxtaposed against the blue sky is very beautiful!
We had some unusually warm days recently, too, and our grass is greening and buds are popping up all over. While we don’t get down to freezing very often, it could possibly happen in the next few weeks…that would not be a good thing!
@ Lowell, that sky is slate grey; the sun sliced through to make an appearance, then we went back to more shades of grey.
Gorgeous light!
Kay, this is a gorgeous field of gold. Almost “amber waves of grain.”
The mild weather up here means we’ve seen an awful lot of fog, which gets boring in a hurry! 🙂
This is a wonderful landscape in a painter’s palate!
This is so beautiful and the light is just great!
