This fence tells the story of winter vegetation around here: ferns died back, dormant berries, dead or dormant grass, and moss. Plenty of moss.

This fence looks like it has been there for a long time. I like how you photographed the moss on the fence.
Guess there aren’t any rolling stones around or they would have caught some of that moss. Isn’t that an amazing shade of green?!
Quite a contrast with the photogenic ‘old’ weathered, mossy fence posts and the stark ‘much younger’ power poles in the background.
Thank goodness, though, for the electric green of the moss during the winter months. It really brightens up the area. I really like your composition in this shot.
