It is neglected but makes a interesting subject to photograph. I have just started a a quest to seek out and photograph places like this.
Looks like the ground is pulling the house down into it — I imagine it was a beauty in its day.
Sad state of disrepair. Makes you wonder what the story is…

I think we are all drawn to places like this now and then, wondering what happened and who lived there and what does the inside look like. Right now I’ve got my eye on an old condemned snuff mill….I know I’ll never get inside but just looking at it makes me wonder about all the workers there back in the 1800s. Great shot here!
