I’d never seen the Sequim City Hall and wondered where it was and what it looked like. Once I found it I was immediately reminded that Sequim is a small town. The building is as small as it looks. It was built in 1973 for an estimated cost of $110,000. And its size answered my question of why the Police Department is located in offices in a shopping center. But I still wonder why there’s a light pole, below. It seems whimsical and reminds me of a barber shop.

I think it’s wonderful to find out new things about one’s own town. Small is good; it’s a fine looking buiding, flag pole and all!
I don’t know if the word is appropriate in this case but I’m so used to old and big city hall buildings that I really find this one super CUTE! š
I’m used to grand and glorious. This is completely unpretentious, which is refreshing.
I like the light, and suspect it’s a hold-over from the pre-1973 building.
The good people of Sequim can’t complain too much about a big government, can they?
haha, yes, that is very tiny.. š
