The field nearby is cultivated yet the barn in the distance certainly isn’t. It’s beyond a fence and a gate posted “No Trespassing.” My zoom can’t get quite close enough. Wish I could. Wish I knew its story.

Really enjoy this photo because it stirs my imagination. I’d love to know its history.
I keep forgetting to try black and white, and this photo inspires me.
Have a relaxing and wonderful week-end!
It must have been a proud structure in it’s day!
Sad when they fall into disrepair…imagine the excitement when it first went up! Yes, what did it hold? What were the crops? Imagine what it must have cost to build?
It would have been a beauty at one time… I know what you mean about not having a long enough lens… mine is 300mm I’m thinking about investing (a big investment) in a 500mm by Sigma for my Pentax K7… we’ll see, it’s a lot of money.
haha… just ignore the no trespassing sign one night….. ๐
I could use this on my decay series! ๐ Love the b&w.
