Secret graffiti
This is on the abutment of a Dungeness River bridge. It’s hidden from general view.

i just started to read about graffiti (i bought a very big book on the history of american graffiti), and i start to appreciate it somewhat more! im not that far yet, but it surely is interesting.
Thank goodness it is hidden.
Wow! In the days following “griffiti,” you have shared with us great pictures of local totoms. Is it my imagination? or is the so called griffiti a form of a totom? I live in Oklahoma where we have many native american artists and I often observe different media used to express the culture. Is this what you intended here? BTW, all of your pictures are wonderful!
Janice, I didn’t intend to make a comparison between the totems and the graffiti. There is an argument that graffiti is an art form. But I posted the photo largely because it was a surprise to find such an elaborate painting hidden away. I’m not educated well enough on arts and culture to offer a fair opinion.
