This is for those of you in the steamy red zones on the weather maps, a view after one of our snows last winter. I find respite in a cool daydream when it’s especially hot. . .I hope this can help you endure until cooler days finally come. This is taken from a trail in the Dungeness Recreation Area.

Oh, thank you! I’ll keep this picture in mind all day.
Looks Christmassy!
Burrrrrr, it does look cold but I love the bit of blue sky peeking through.
your right sandy, is that the famous blue hole? 😛
The “famous blue hole” often tends to hover around the Dungeness Recreation Area and can be quite pronounced. There can be a nice patch of blue sky there and at the same time it’s overcast or even raining further inland, to the south, particularly in the Olympic foothills. The tradeoff can be strong marine winds at times, though those can cover a broader region that “Blue Hole-ville.”
Congratulations on your new ‘venture’.
What a beautiful view to happen upon! I am going to enjoy learning about Sequim.
