So cosy looking! It would fit in the middle of a forest in Alaska! I looked up the rates and you really got a DEAL! How great that both of you do things like this. We are mostly armchair travelers (after an active 1990’s with 2 Ireland trips and 8 cruises under our belts) and I love to look at these fabulous vacations rental and just DREAM! I love that HORSE LAMP!
How nice! Did you get photos of any of the murals? It looks like such a comfortable place.
Pat and Kay, I had a hard time picking which ones to put up because I wanted to show how cool it was, but at the same time not reveal too much of it in case someone ever wanted to stay there themselves…I wanted them to experience all the discoveries like I did. There is even a bar downstairs that has a cowboy on a horse wall covering/painting like thing and then actual saddles on some of the barstools so you can saddle up to the bar!
I sent you a picture of the murals/wall coverings in email Kay.
Looks like we both got in touch with nature over Easter weekend. Thanks for the comments re: Yosemite.
That cabin is gorgeous. The colors, exposed wood and setting are what I picture an ideal vacation home to be. The fact that the owner gives proceeds to abused animals is even better. A rare find, that’s for sure.
