You are so right about the “too soon”. It is between 30 and 32 in the Olympia area this morning.
After three short days of sun and temperatures unseasonably high, the buds here in Sacramento have burst. Today, it is overcast. Rain is expected. Those trees and bushes are in for a not so pleasant surprise.
