For those who know me, it is probably not a huge surprise to know I am a strong supporter of the local schools. This sign, a good deal larger than most, is posted on Washington street between 4th and 5th.

Schools are important! My niece teaches 5th grade in Long Beach Ca. What a job she has! (she previously taught 3rd grade and enjoyed them more). Norma, how did you fare through that last storm? WOW! We clocked winds of 68 MPH up here! I noticed one of the Elk Warning signs is down even.
