I could make a puzzle out of this one…but I’ll just tell. The plum tree is loaded, but it’s a race to get to see who will enjoy them…me or Bambi and his mate. In all the years I’ve lived in this home, I’ve only seen one deer…this year they came by at least twice. The strange looking fruit is a nylon sock filled with a combination of dried blood and cayenne pepper (according to the package). It is suppose to be a deterrent.
Nothing ever worked for us as a deterrent at our former home. I will be interested to hear if this does. Fabulous plums, I hope you get to eat them.
