Iris will be 90 years old this weekend (She doesn’t look a day over 70) and will have a family celebration. She and her daughter, Rita, have been coming to my house for a quilting retreat for almost 9 years. With her in this picture is a niece from Texas, her daughter, and a granddaughter-in-law. They just spent 6 days in my home, quilting, scrapbooking, shopping, visiting, and just having a great time. So what do their projects look like? The thumbnail shows just some of their projects from the week.

This post really made me smile! Them getting together like that and creating those projects and the shared memories must be something they cherish. And to have such a fantastic host for it is icing on the cake.
Happy early birthday Iris! (You aren’t kidding Norma when you say she doesn’t look a day over 70.)
Thank you, Norma. You are such a dear and we had a wonderful week with you. We are counting down to next year. 🙂
Happy Birthday Iris!
You’ve got a great smile.
So, what are your secrets to a long healthy life?
No, you don’t know me, but after all we’re all connected on some deeper level.
My wife and I are thinking of moving to Sequim and I have no doubt that you’re a bright spot there.
Have some fun!!!
