My neighbors, Larry and Janet, hosted our annual neighborhood block party last night. This was the only photo I took before I was overcome with good food, excellent vino, and belly laughs from our Cranium game. I laughed so hard I almost cried. If you haven’t played the game, you really should give it a try. And getting together with your neighbors…priceless.

The petals look absolutely perfect; the colours are also very appealing. I think that I’ll have to search for that game.

This inspired us to get outside in the heat and stake our dahlia that was blowing in the wind. It had one beautiful yellow bloom that snapped, but I anticipate many more now! Beautiful pink petals!
