It’s the last weekend for Sequim High School’s operetta, Beauty and the Beast. I went last Friday, had perfect seas, and forgot my camera. This weekend we were in the balcony. While it was still a great show, my photos lack some of the clairity I would have liked. If you are local, you still have two chances to catch the show today. The thumbnails are of Gaston and his sidekick. They were a hoot!
We saw Beauty and the Beast last fall locally, but it was quite a different production than yours. It was put on by the Over the Hill Gang, who have begun to allow some participants younger than 50 in recent years. Here is a picture of Belle and Gaston with the chorus. Some more shots are here. i LOVE this play too! i was babette in thos production…thats ellen 🙂 she was a great Belle…her first sequim high play too! i was paired with isaac…possibly the greatest actor in sequim history! he is an amazing kid…he had brain surgery a couple weeks before the opening night. we pushed the opening back so he could still be lumiere. 😀 but BEST play!
