These pretty pink blooms are common on salal at this time of year. You might recognize the leaves if you have been given a bouquet of flowers lately. Florists use it as a filler.

Is this the same plant that you get Salal berries from? I remember those when we used to camp in Oregon. Of course that was back in the dark ages and I probably have the name mixed up with something else. LOL
