While most of my lavender plants are just starting to bud, the Spanish lavender is having a field day in my garden. Sometimes it is called “donkey ears”. In yesterday’s post, it has been determined I can’t hear well. I took the picture at McComb’s Nursery, and what I heard is not what the plant is called at all. You were looking at fritillaria.

The flower look like they will be real nice. I like the way you took the picture.
So the Lavender Lady is finally showing her lavender. These are so pretty and I can’t wait to see the others as they blossom. Is the Spanish lavender similar to the English? I’ve taken pictures of what I thought was English but it looks the same as this. Just curious.
