This is “Blue Mountain”. If you Google Blue Mountain in Sequim, you will find lots of information about businesses who have adopted the name, the B lue Mountain Transfer Station and a cemetery from the 1800’s…but nothing about the mountain. As I was leaving the other evening, the sky was putting on quite a show and it was easy to see why it was given the name.
Today is your chance to visit sites all around the world and check out what is “blue” in their community. Just click on the links below. Remember there is a time difference, so visit often!

always thought the blue mountains were in kentucky – this must be a stray

Beautiful photo and a great way to define the theme.

Beautiful sunset! I didn’t know you have Blue Mountains in Sequim, I only knew those in Australia, near Sydney.

Isn’t our area beautiful?
I had to “borrow” your links to post today, the daily photo blog server was down when I was trying to copy the links. So…thanks!

That’s spectacular. I’d love to be able to look at the changing face of that mountain from my kitchen window every day.
I have been missing my blogger friends and have not taken time to look at photos lately. This one was definitely worth the wait! WOWOWOW! Absolutely gorgeous. (I removed my entire St. Paul Daily Photo blog and made a book out of my year of photos. What fun!!!!!!)
