I stopped at a friend’s home this last week and as I was walking up to the house, I spotted this deer resting on the lawn. He/she waited until I returned with my camera.

It’s as if you were able to look into a secret garden, a little Garden of Eden.
What an outstanding photograph! I think it captures how this area still remains somewhat rural no matter how much development is taking place.
Great photo! I like how the hedge frames the photo.
That is an incredible picture! Nature framing Nature.
Great shot, Norma! They aren’t shy at all? I’m starting to believe that West Coast deer are the friendliest. 🙂
The word of the day fits the deer in our area also, a Magnitude of deer! They are not afraid of us at all, and are rather bold, especially when perusing our area for food! We love them and watching the little ones grow up! Your photo is just beautiful!!
Oh, how wonderful! I love the framing of the photo — and the sweet face of the deer itself. Great job!
Norma, WHAT a capture! They are so lovely.
Hey, surprise! I’ve tagged you and now you’re it! Please visit my Wednesday post to see what to do,
