Healthy Families sponsored a vigil Thursday to pause and reflect on the loss of 60 victims in the state of Washington who died this year as a result of domestic violence. The Silent Witness Display in the Sequim Park by the Bank of America was made up of life size wooden cutouts with the tragic and senseless story of domestic violence that led to the loss of a life. The Sequim Coalition for Healthy Families assisted with the financial cost of bringing this moving display to the Olympic Peninsula.

Bravo for this post, on a subject which unfortunately affects all countries.
A worthy cause but I imagine very difficult to combat.
I think that drug use, domestic violence and child abuse are impossible to combat and I hate that.
Very poinient display. Its a real tragedy that so many lives were lost in a truely senseless way. I say bravo to your community for having this exhibit.
This display is really a good idea. Interactive. Educational. Even haunting. Very memorable.
